Group Therapy

Healing Together (HT) is a two phased 12-week trauma treatment group. We created the HT method by merging three evidence-based trauma treatment methodologies: The Herman’s Stages of Trauma Recovery, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Psychology.

Phase one: from this phase you will gain: Increased understanding of the impacts of trauma, reduce the sense of shame and self-blame an enhanced coping skills and self-regulation skills

Phase two: will focus on reprocessing and integration of trauma memory using EMDR.

Length and format: 12 Weeks. This is a closed group, meaning that we will not accept new members after the group has started.

Start Date: March 4, 2023

Cost: $1900. This covers 12-two-hour sessions, all the materials, 2- sixty minutes post group follow-up sessions, a journal,  a manual and a sensory toolbox that will be yours to keep. The cost may be covered in full or partially by your insurance provider. Please contact your insurance provider to gather more details on coverage. This group is covered by NHIB Insurance.
